Stony Fossils at Mariash Quarry

Mariash Quarry is one of the field program locations for The Outdoor Classroom, which brings lessons of the natural world to life with qualified instruction and programming that enhances the lessons learned in school. Students can join us to hunt for 440 million year old fossils and hear about the organisms that  inhabited the Ordovician Sea that once covered the area.
